Italicized text is California-specific language, and specific only to transient lodging facilities such as hotels and motels. The requirements for bathrooms with mobility features in Section 11B-806 and the requirements for bathrooms with adaptable features in Section 11B-809.10 supersede the minimum accessibility requirements stipulated in this section because they provide greater accessibility to achieve compliance with federal standards. ◼
