This is a 30 minute session.
This is the second presentation in a series of three recreational facility webinars. Bill Botten, Accessibility Specialist from the U.S. Access Board (link is external) will provide a thirty minute overview of the minimum scoping and technical requirements for newly constructed and altered play areas required to comply with the 2010 ADA Standards for Accessible Design and the Architectural Barriers Act. Ground level and elevated play components, accessible routes, and play area surface requirements will be discussed. Please join us for this introduction to accessibility standards for these unique facilities.
