The ADA Legacy Tour - July 26: Baltimore, MD

July 26, 2015   |   Organized by: ADA Legacy Tour

Description

The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) will turn twenty-five on July 26, 2015. And a big anniversary deserves a BIG celebration! That's why we're partnering with individuals and organizations around the country to prepare for 2015. How will YOU celebrate?

On Sunday, July 26, 2015, the State of Maryland will celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) in Baltimore.  The celebration theme is "Commit for another 25 years…and Beyond!"  We are very excited to announce that The "Road to Freedom" ADA Bus - which traveled to 48 states in 2007 to raise support for the ADA Amendments Act-is making a whistle-stop visit in Baltimore as part of our celebration.   The Tour is a traveling exhibit designed to raise awareness and build excitement about ADA25.  Since its kick-off in July, 2014, The Tour has logged thousands of miles traveling throughout the United States.  Baltimore is its final stop before reaching its destination-Washington, DC. Join us as we celebrate this monumental anniversary.

The ADA Legacy Tour is rolling across the country raising awareness and building excitement toward ADA25 - the 25th anniversary of the ADA in 2015! The Tour includes:
