DESCRIPTION:The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) will turn twenty-five
  on July 26\, 2015. And a big anniversary deserves a BIG celebration! That
 's why we're partnering with individuals and organizations around the coun
 try to prepare for 2015. How will YOU celebrate?\n\nOn Sunday\, July 26\, 
 2015\, the State of Maryland will celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the Am
 ericans with Disabilities Act (ADA) in Baltimore.  The celebration theme 
 is "Commit for another 25 years…and Beyond!"  We are very excited to an
 nounce that The "Road to Freedom" ADA Bus - which traveled to 48 states in
  2007 to raise support for the ADA Amendments Act-is making a whistle-stop
  visit in Baltimore as part of our celebration.   The Tour is a travelin
 g exhibit designed to raise awareness and build excitement about ADA25.  
 Since its kick-off in July\, 2014\, The Tour has logged thousands of miles
  traveling throughout the United States.  Baltimore is its final stop bef
 ore reaching its destination-Washington\, DC. Join us as we celebrate this
  monumental anniversary.\n\nThe ADA Legacy Tour is rolling across the coun
 try raising awareness and building excitement toward ADA25 - the 25th anni
 versary of the ADA in 2015! The Tour includes:\n\n\n	The "Road to Freedom"
  ADA Bus - which traveled to 48 states in 2007 to raise support for the AD
 A Amendments Act - courtesy of the Disability Rights Center and driven by 
 veteran disability rights photographer\, Tom Olin\;\n	a four-panel display
  on the history of self-advocacy\, courtesy of the Museum of disABILITY Hi
 story\;\n	displays on The ADA Legacy Project and its effort to preserve of
  disability history\; celebrate disability history milestones\; and educat
 e future generations of disability advocates\;\n	a "Because of the ADA . .
  ." booth where you can post your thoughts and photos to illustrate the di
 fference the ADA has made in your life\;\n	the ADA quilt - add your signat
 ure to thousands of others who have participated in the Tour\;\n	displays 
 on the history of the Road to Freedom Tour\;\n	an information table with h
 andouts on The ADA Legacy Project and the ADA\, plus information from our 
 partners and sponsors\; and\n	events\, workshops\, artifacts\, and other p
 rogramming provided by local hosts.\n\n\nSix of the Tour stops will be hou
 sed at the Abilities Expo\, one of our major Tour partners. These stops wi
 ll include a workshop on the ADA\, courtesy of the ADA National Network.\n
