I attended the "Accessibility Trends in Museums and Performing Arts Venues" session at the National ADA Symposium in May, with expert Betty Siegel of the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. In that session I noted that Regulations regarding ticket sales only apply to people with mobility disabilities. But aren't phone or online ticket sales required to meet the needs of people with hearing and vision impairments? Does the transaction of selling a ticket fall under a public accommodation's requirement to communicate effectively with an individual with a disability, per 36.303(c)(1) ?
