We've been testing Browserbase for some internal automation at work, mostly logging into client dashboards, downloading reports and checking whether certain pages have updated. It was fairly easy to connect our existing Playwright scripts, but I'm starting to question whether it's the right choice as we add more jobs. Some tasks finish in under a minute, yet starting a fresh browser session adds noticeable time, and running several jobs together makes it harder to predict how long everything will take. I'm also trying to understand what our monthly bill might look like once browser usage and proxy traffic start adding up. We could keep using Browserbase, move to another hosted browser service or go back to managing Chromium ourselves. Has anyone compared these options with a similar workload? How did the costs and reliability change when you started running more sessions in parallel?
