I'm working with an organization that puts on concert events at a rodeo / fairground facility. They have permanent seating in bleachers with accessible seating as required, etc. 

The question that has arisen about how to address access to the open ground area in front of the stage where patrons stand – they are thinking of laying down some “mats” that would provide temporary access during the concert.

Has anybody addressed this issue at a temporary venue – if so how was it handled.
