How I Get “Sonic Forces” mod Coins and Red Rings: My Personal Gamer Hack

Look here: Sonic Forces Hack Free Red Rings and Coins Codes

I have a slightly embarrassing confession: I have spent way too much time telling myself, “Okay, just one more run,” while playing Sonic Forces.

You know how it goes. You’re trying to grab a few more coins, maybe hunt down those sneaky Red Rings, and suddenly it’s been 45 minutes, your snack is gone, and you’re muttering at your screen like Eggman personally designed that one annoying jump.

So today I’m sharing my own gamer tips for getting Coins and Red Rings in Sonic Forces — the normal, legit way. No weird “free currency generator” nonsense, because those are usually scams and I like my accounts un-stolen, thank you very much.

These are the habits that helped me collect more, waste less, and actually enjoy the grind.

1. I Replay Stages Like I’m Studying for a Final Exam

The biggest thing that helped me with Red Rings was accepting one simple truth:

You are probably not going to find everything on your first run.

At least, I don’t. My first run is usually just me flying through the stage, missing half the paths, bumping into enemies, and saying, “Wait, was that a Red Ring up there?”

So I started replaying stages with a different mindset. Instead of trying to go fast, I treat each stage like a little treasure map.

When I replay, I look for:

  • Higher paths
  • Hidden rails
  • Alternate routes
  • Suspicious-looking platforms
  • Areas where the camera angle changes
  • Places where rings seem to “guide” me somewhere

A lot of Red Rings are placed just far enough out of the normal path that you’ll miss them if you’re only focused on speed. Once I slowed down a bit, I started spotting them way more often.

My personal rule is: first run for survival, second run for exploration, third run for cleanup.

2. I Don’t Always Take the Fastest Route

This sounds so wrong in a Sonic game, but hear me out.

Sometimes the fastest route is not the best route for collecting. I used to automatically take boost pads, upper paths, dash panels — basically anything that made me feel like a blue blur with a caffeine problem.

But a lot of collectibles are tucked away in slower or slightly riskier routes.

Now, when I’m farming or hunting Red Rings, I purposely try routes I ignored before. I’ll jump to a lower platform, take a weird spring, or follow a trail of rings even if it looks like it’s pulling me away from the main path.

Sometimes it leads nowhere.

Sometimes it leads to a Red Ring.

Sometimes it leads to me falling into a pit and making a noise that scares my cat.

Worth it? Usually.

3. I Use Stage Memorization Instead of Pure Reflexes

I used to think I could just “react faster” and grab everything. Nope. Not me. My reflexes are decent, but Sonic stages love throwing things at you quickly.

The real trick is memorization.

If there’s a tricky Red Ring, I replay the section a few times and remember exactly what I need to do:

  • Jump early
  • Hold the jump longer
  • Avoid boosting
  • Switch lanes
  • Hit a certain spring
  • Stay on a high rail
  • Wait half a second before moving

That tiny bit of memory makes a huge difference.

One time I kept missing a Red Ring because I was boosting too early. I must have missed it five times in a row. Then I finally tried not boosting, casually jumped, grabbed it, and sat there like, “Oh. So the problem was me being impatient. Classic.”

4. I Collect Coins While Playing Normally, Not by Panicking

For coins, my biggest tip is simple:

Don’t get greedy to the point where you mess up the whole run.

I used to chase every little trail of coins like a raccoon spotting something shiny. Then I’d miss a platform, lose momentum, or get hit. Eventually I learned that consistent, clean runs usually earn me more over time than messy runs where I chase every single coin.

My coin strategy is:

  • Grab the easy lines
  • Don’t risk a death for a tiny handful
  • Stay in control
  • Replay stages I know well
  • Focus on completing the run smoothly

It feels boring to say “play consistently,” but honestly? It works.

Sonic Forces Mod Free Coins and Red Rings A clean run where I collect most of the coins is better than a chaotic run where I grab a few extra and then completely ruin my flow.

5. I Farm the Stages I Actually Enjoy

This is one of my biggest personal tips: don’t farm stages you hate.

Yes, some levels might be better for collecting. But if a stage makes me annoyed every time I load it up, I’m not going to stick with it.

I pick stages that have:

  • A layout I understand
  • Coin paths I can grab easily
  • Red Ring routes I can practice
  • Fewer sections that make me want to dramatically stare out a window

If I’m enjoying the stage, I’ll replay it more. If I replay it more, I’ll naturally collect more coins and improve my routes.

Grinding only feels awful when you’re forcing yourself through content you don’t like. Sonic is supposed to be fun. Fast, chaotic, occasionally rude to your thumbs — but fun.

6. I Watch for Ring Trails Like They’re Secret Arrows

This is something I didn’t appreciate enough at first: ring trails are often hints.

If you see coins or rings going upward, downward, or slightly off the main route, the game may be telling you, “Hey buddy, maybe go this way.”

Not always. Sometimes it’s just decoration or a small reward. But many times, following the trail leads you to:

  • A hidden path
  • A better route
  • A collectible
  • A Red Ring location
  • A safer landing

Unless it’s clearly a trap.

And yes, I still follow it sometimes even when it’s clearly a trap. I am only human.

7. I Don’t Spend Premium Currency Randomly

If you’re playing a version of Sonic Forces that uses Red Rings as a premium currency, my biggest advice is:

Save them until you know what you actually want.

I learned this the hard way in games like this. Early on, I get excited and spend premium currency on whatever looks useful in the moment. Then later, an event, character, upgrade, or special offer appears, and I’m sitting there with three Red Rings and regret.

My personal spending rules are:

  • Don’t spend just because I can
  • Wait for events or worthwhile rewards
  • Avoid impulse purchases
  • Save for characters or items I genuinely use
  • Don’t blow premium currency to speed things up unless it’s really worth it

Basically, I treat Red Rings like emergency snacks. I don’t eat them just because I opened the cabinet. I save them for when I really need them.

Mostly.

Okay, sometimes I snack.

8. I Do Daily Missions and Event Tasks First

Whenever a Sonic game gives me daily tasks, missions, or event challenges, I try to do those before random grinding.

Why? Because they usually give better rewards for stuff I was already going to do anyway.

A typical daily mission might ask you to:

  • Complete a stage
  • Collect a certain amount of coins
  • Use a specific character
  • Win or finish a race
  • Open a chest or claim a reward
  • Log in during an event

I love rewards that stack with normal gameplay. It feels like getting paid twice.

My routine is usually:

  1. Log in and check rewards
  2. Look at daily/event missions
  3. Do the easy missions first
  4. Focus on anything with Red Rings or big coin rewards
  5. Then grind stages if I still feel like playing

This keeps me from wasting time. Plus, checking missions first stops me from doing something silly like grinding for 20 minutes and then realizing there was a mission that would’ve rewarded me for using a different character the whole time.

Been there. Made the face. You know the face.

9. I Upgrade Carefully Instead of Dumping Coins Everywhere

Coins usually disappear fast if you upgrade everything just because it’s available.

I used to do that. A new upgrade button would appear and my brain would go, “Shiny! Press it!” Then I’d run out of coins and wonder why my favorite character or setup was still underpowered.

Now I’m more selective.

I prioritize:

  • Characters I actually use
  • Abilities that match my playstyle
  • Upgrades that help me win or clear stages
  • Anything tied to events I’m actively playing

I ignore upgrades for characters or gear I never touch unless I have extra coins lying around.

It’s like cleaning your room before buying more shelves. Upgrade what matters first.

10. I Use Characters That Make Collecting Easier for Me

Everyone has a different playstyle. Some players love speed. Some like power. Some like control.

Me? I like characters or setups that help me make fewer mistakes.

If I’m going after coins or Red Rings, I don’t always pick the fastest option. I pick the character I feel most comfortable controlling. Because if I can control the run better, I can grab more stuff.

My advice is to test different characters and ask:

  • Do I feel in control?
  • Can I recover from mistakes?
  • Does this character make jumps easier?
  • Can I stay on the route I want?
  • Am I constantly overshooting things?

Sometimes “slower but safer” is better for collecting than “fast but chaotic.”

Sonic may be about speed, but my thumbs sometimes need adult supervision.

11. I Replay After Unlocking New Abilities or Gear

This is one of my favorite tricks.

If I unlock a new ability, character, Wispon, Avatar option, or anything that changes how I move through a level, I go back to older stages.

Why? Because suddenly, a route that felt awkward before might become easier. A jump I kept missing might be simple now. A Red Ring that seemed annoying might become totally manageable.

I’ve had moments where I went back to a stage and thought, “Wait, why was I struggling with this?”

The answer was usually: wrong setup, wrong route, or me trying to brute-force everything like a sleep-deprived hedgehog.

12. I Take Breaks When I Start Playing Badly

This tip is not glamorous, but it’s real.

If I miss the same Red Ring ten times in a row, I stop.

Not forever. Just for a little bit.

Because after a while, I’m not practicing anymore — I’m just getting tilted. And tilted me is not a skilled gamer. Tilted me boosts into spikes, jumps too early, and blames the controller even when the controller is sitting there innocently.

A five-minute break can seriously help. Grab water, stretch your hands, pet the dog, stare at the wall like a dramatic anime rival. Then come back.

I swear I’ve collected some of my most annoying Red Rings immediately after taking a break.

13. I Avoid Sketchy “Free Coins/Red Rings” Sites

Quick serious gamer note: please don’t trust random websites or videos promising unlimited coins, free Red Rings, hacks, generators, or “no verification” currency.

They are almost always scams.

They can lead to:

  • Stolen accounts
  • Malware
  • Fake surveys
  • Bans
  • Wasted time
  • General sadness

The safe way is slower, yes. But I would rather grind honestly than lose my account because I clicked something called “Sonic_Free_Rings_REAL_2026_NoScam.exe.”

If a site looks like Eggman built it in a basement, close the tab.

14. My Favorite Simple Coin Routine

When I just want to collect coins without thinking too hard, this is my personal routine:

  1. Pick a stage I know well
  2. Use a character/setup I’m comfortable with
  3. Don’t chase risky coins
  4. Focus on a clean finish
  5. Replay until I stop improving
  6. Check missions or rewards
  7. Upgrade only what I actually use

It’s not fancy, but it works. It’s my “cozy grind” routine. I’ll usually throw on some music or a podcast and just vibe through the stages.

Sometimes I’m efficient.

Sometimes I get distracted and run directly into an enemy.

Balance.

15. My Red Ring Hunting Checklist

When I’m specifically hunting Red Rings, I use this little mental checklist:

  • Did I check the high route?
  • Did I check the low route?
  • Did I follow odd ring trails?
  • Did I avoid boosting through collectible-heavy sections?
  • Did I try different characters or gear?
  • Did I replay the stage slowly?
  • Did I watch for hidden springs, rails, or platforms?
  • Did I take a break before getting annoyed?

Red Rings are often about observation more than speed. If I rush, I miss them. If I explore, I usually find them.

Eventually.

With only a moderate amount of dramatic sighing.

Getting Coins and Red Rings in Sonic Forces is really about building good habits: replaying stages, learning routes, doing missions, saving premium currency, and not letting impatience take over.

My biggest personal tip is this:

Don’t turn the game into homework.

If you’re bored, switch stages. If you’re frustrated, take a break. If you’re farming coins, pick a route that feels good. If you’re hunting Red Rings, slow down and explore.

The best rewards come when you’re actually enjoying the run — even if you miss the jump, bonk into a robot, and pretend it was totally part of the plan.

Because yes, obviously, I meant to do that.

Happy collecting, and may your next run be full of coins, Red Rings, and absolutely zero surprise pits.
