How to Get Rose Orbs and Luno in Blue Protocol: Star Resonance – My Personal Hack

Hey friends, it’s me again — your slightly unhinged Ranger main who still cries about that one 180-pull dry spell back in Phase 1.

If you’re new here or just tired of staring at your empty Rose Orb counter like it personally betrayed you, welcome. Today I’m dumping everything I’ve learned about getting Rose Orbs and Luno in Blue Protocol: Star Resonance. No corporate fluff, no “just do your dailies bro.” Just real talk from someone who’s spent way too many hours thinking about anime gacha money.

First, Let’s Get One Thing Straight

Rose Orbs are your pull currency. Luno is the real premium currency (the one that makes your wallet cry).

The game is actually pretty generous with both if you know what you’re doing. I’ve been completely F2P for two phases now and I still have 18,400 Rose Orbs saved for the upcoming idol singer banner because I’m a degenerate with self-control issues.

Here’s how I actually do it.

My Best Ways to Farm Rose Orbs

1. The “I Will Not Miss This” Daily Routine
Every single day I do the following like it’s my religion:

  • All dailies (obviously)
  • All weekly missions the moment they drop
  • The hidden “Star Resonance Radio” quests (people sleep on these so hard)

The Radio quests alone give like 600–800 Orbs per week if you stay on top of them. I literally have an alarm named “Blue Protocol Radio or I’ll cry.”

2. Exploration is Stupidly Rewarded
This is my biggest “I can’t believe this works” tip.

Go back to old maps. Like actually go back. The game has this sneaky system where certain exploration milestones and hidden photo spots in lower-level zones give Rose Orbs. I found a chest in the starter area last week that gave me 200 Orbs. Two. Hundred. In the starter zone. I screamed.

I now have a rule: every time I feel poor, I go “touch grass” in an old map for an hour. Works every time.

3. The Co-op Greed Method (My Guilty Pleasure)
If there’s an event going on, I host public lobbies with the most braindead fun title I can think of (“Rose Orb Dealers Only”). For some reason, people join like crazy and we clear the event stages 47 times in one night.

The community is so nice that people usually drop their spare event rewards in chat if they don’t need them. I’ve gotten thousands of Orbs from random kindness doing this.

4. My Dumb Ritual (Don’t Judge Me)
Every time I hit 6,000 Orbs, I buy the stupid expensive-looking “Starlight Bundle” that gives 10 extra Orbs. I don’t know why, but my pull luck is noticeably better after buying that dumb bundle. I’ve accepted that I’m mentally ill.

How I Get Luno Without Feeling Like a Complete Wallet Warrior

Luno is harder, but not impossible.

My golden rules:

  • Never buy Luno with straight cash. Always wait for the “Special Supply” packs that give bonus Rose Orbs + Luno. The value difference is actually criminal.
  • The monthly “Star Pass” (whatever they’re calling it this phase) is 100% worth it. I consider this my only real “subscription.”
  • Save every bit of compensation mail like a dragon. The devs are actually pretty good about giving Luno when servers die or they break something.

My favorite Luno hack right now:
During the current “Resonance Festival,” there’s a hidden achievement chain called “Echoes of the First Star.” It’s kind of obscure and requires you to do a bunch of story replay + specific style rank clears. Total reward is 2,800 Luno. I did it last week while eating cereal and felt like a genius.

A Few Unhinged Truths From Your Local Goblin

  • I have a spreadsheet. Yes, I’m that person.
  • I once stayed up until 6:30am grinding an event because I wanted the limited title that gave +50 Orbs per week. Zero regrets.
  • The real endgame isn’t pulling the character. It’s getting the character and still having Orbs left over. That feeling is unmatched.

If you see someone in the field named “LunolessRanger” spamming the /cry emote while surrounded by defeated monsters… yeah that’s probably me.

Anyway, that’s all I got for you today!

If you have any secret methods I missed, drop them in the comments. I read every single one like a gremlin. Especially the weird ones.

Now go touch some grass in the starter zone. There are Orbs in there, I swear.

May your next 10-pull be rainbow,
Luna (yes I main the bow, no I will not stop talking about it)
