Why Accessibility Should Be a Priority in the Real Estate Business

General Comment or Question

Jessica Wade | about 16 hours ago (edited)

The real estate business is no longer only about location, pricing, and investment returns. Modern residential and commercial developments should also provide accessible entrances, ramps, elevators, parking spaces, clear signage, and user-friendly common areas for people with disabilities and older adults.

In Pakistan, developers such as Union Developers, through projects like Union Town, can strengthen long-term value by considering accessibility and inclusive planning from the earliest development stages. When accessibility is treated as an essential feature rather than an afterthought, a project can serve more families, improve usability, and build greater trust among buyers.

What accessibility features do you think should be mandatory in every new residential or commercial real estate project?

This version is informative, discussion-focused, and mentions Union Developers and Union Town naturally without appearing overly promotional.
