How I Hoard Diamonds & Gold Hack in Love Nikki Without Going Broke

Hey virtual stylists! Grab a cup of tea (or iced coffee, if you’re chaotic like me) because we need to have a serious chat about the economy of Miraland.

If you’re anything like me, you opened Love Nikki thinking, “Oh, a cute dress-up game! How relaxing!” cut to three months later, and you’re sweating over a limited-time Hell Event, staring at your balance of 12 Diamonds, and questioning your life choices because you just had to have that giant animated mermaid tail.

(No regrets on the mermaid tail, ngl. But my diamond stash wept.)

Over my four years of playing—and fighting Momo’s endless judgment of my outfits—I’ve figured out a solid routine to keep my virtual wallet chubby without actually opening my real wallet. Whether you’re saving up for the next pavilion or just trying to craft that ridiculous Grice suit, here are my personal, tried-and-true tips for farming Diamonds and Gold!

Part 1: The Shiny Stuff (How to Get Diamonds)

Let's be real: Diamonds are the oxygen of Love Nikki. You breathe them in, and a gorgeous gothic goth-loli dress comes out. Here is how I get a steady stream every single day.

1. The "Scamming Momo" Share Trick (My #1 Daily Rule)
Did you know you can get around 12–15 free diamonds every single day just by "sharing" your outfits and achievements? Here is my favorite little hack: you don’t actually have to annoy your real-life Facebook friends or Twitter followers!
How to Get Love Nikki Free Gold and Diamonds When the game prompts you to share for 2 Diamonds, click the Facebook button. The app will switch over. Immediately hit the back button on your phone or close the pop-up without posting. Boom. Love Nikki still thinks you shared, and Momo tosses you the diamonds. I do this every morning while waiting for my toast to pop.

2. Never Skip Your Daily Quests (No, Seriously)
I know, it feels repetitive. But clearing your daily quest bar yields 65 Diamonds every single day. If you do this every day for a month, that is almost 2,000 diamonds just for tapping buttons! My routine takes about 10 minutes: send stamina to friends, complete three arena battles, customize one item (I literally just dye the same cheap white sock pink and back to white again—sorry, not sorry), and do a few stages.

3. The Netflix & Vote Routine (The Secret Diamond Stash)
Okay, this is my ultimate pro-tip that took me way too long to figure out. In the Competition arena, you can vote on other players' outfits. Every 10 votes, you get to open a little pink gift box at the bottom of the screen.
Do not ignore these boxes.
They drop Stamina, Gold, and—crucially—Diamonds! My habit is to open Love Nikki while I’m watching Netflix in the evening and just mindlessly tap one side of the screen to vote while I watch a show. Once every few months, when a massive event drops and I’m desperate, I open my accumulated reward boxes. I once pulled over 400 diamonds out of saved-up competition boxes. It feels like finding a $20 bill in your winter coat!

Part 2: The Shiny Circles (How to Swim in Gold)

Gold seems plentiful at first, but then you try to upgrade all your styling skills or craft a chapter suit, and suddenly you're broke. Here is how I keep my gold reserves in the millions.

4. Weekend Double-Drop Farming
Every weekend, certain chapters get flagged for "2x Gold" or "2x Drops." Live here on weekends. I dump all my saved-up stamina into the Maiden stages that have 2x Gold.
My weird personal habit: I specifically farm Chapter 7, Stage 7 (Maiden) over and over during double gold weekends because it drops items called "Lampwick-Brown" and "Silent Rose" which can be decomposed for sweet, sweet earrings and rings later. Two birds, one stone!

5. Sell Your Useless Materials (Yes, You Can Do That!)
Did you know you can sell your extra materials? Go to your Wardrobe, click the "Tools" tab in the top right, and look at your crafting materials. If you’ve been playing for a while, you probably have thousands of random cloth scraps or bones from clearing early stages. You can sell these for Gold!
A quick warning from personal trauma: Double-check what you need for lifetime suits before you sell everything! I accidentally sold a stack of materials I needed for Star Sea in my second year of playing and I think I actually cried real tears. Keep a healthy stash of 50–100 of each, sell the excess!

6. The Decomposition Hustle
Got 45 copies of that boring brown sweater from the mystery pavilion? Decompose them! Not only do you get crafting materials, but decomposition spits out a surprising amount of Gold. Plus, it fills up the Lost Casket meter, which gives you free diamonds and gold when you open it.

My Final Piece of Advice: Chill Out on the Pavilions!

Look, I get it. The Gacha pavilions are designed to trigger the shiny-magpie part of our brains. But unless you have 4,000+ diamonds saved up, do not pull in limited-time pavilions. You will just end up with four duplicate pairs of socks, no dress, and zero diamonds. (Ask me how I know. Go on, ask me about the Easter event of 2021. Actually, don't, I'm still bitter.)

Save your diamonds for crafting return events or static Hell Events where you know the pity timer will guarantee you a suit!

Anyway, that’s my daily Miraland survival guide! It takes a little patience, but playing the slow game makes finally crafting that insanely detailed 12-piece ballgown feel so much sweeter.

What’s your diamond count sitting at right now? And more importantly... what's the most embarrassing outfit Momo has ever made you put together just to pass a stage? (Let's be honest, we've all worn the pizza dress with ninja weapons to get an S-Rank). Tell me in the comments below!

Happy styling, y'all! ✨👗
