How to Get "Rise of Kingdoms" Hack Gems — My Personal Cheats

👋   Look here: Get Rise of Kingdoms Hack Free Gems mod apk

So... you clicked on this post because you're staring at your gem counter — which, let's be honest, is probably sitting at a pathetic 47 — and you're thinking, "How does anyone in this game ever afford anything?"

Yeah. I feel you. I REALLY feel you.

I've been playing Rise of Kingdoms since like... 2020? Maybe early 2021? Honestly I lost count because my phone has died and been resurrected more times than a phoenix in this game. And in all that time, I've learned — the HARD way, mostly through impulse spending on commander sculptures I didn't even need — that gems are basically the oxygen of this game. You don't die without them immediately, but you're definitely suffocating.

So today I'm gonna dump everything I know about getting gems — free gems, semi-free gems, "I'm-not-proud-of-how-much-I-spent" gems — all of it. Grab a coffee. Or a energy drink. Or whatever you drink at 2 AM while auto-farming gems from a mine you claimed three hours ago. No judgment here.

🪨 First Things First: The Gem Mines. Your Bread and Butter.

Okay look — if you're NOT gathering from gem mines every single day, I need you to stop reading this and go do that right now. Seriously. I'll wait.

...

Done? Good.

Gem mines are the single most consistent source of free gems in the entire game, and SO many people sleep on them. I used to be one of those people, honestly. Early on I thought, "Eh, it's only like 200 gems per mine, who cares."

BRO. It adds up.

Here's my personal system — and yes, I'm a little unhinged about it:

  • I have three accounts (don't come for me, I know, I know — but hear me out). On each account, I claim every gem mine I can find during my morning commute. Yes, I play on the subway like some kind of digital gremlin. My fellow passengers probably think I'm just scrolling TikTok. I am NOT just scrolling TikTok. I am BUILDING AN EMPIRE.

  • Each account pulls roughly 400–600 gems a day from mines if you're diligent. That's 1,200–1,800 gems a day across three accounts. Do the math. That's like... a lot. That's enough for a decent event spin or half a sculpture. Per day.

  • Pro tip that actually changed my life: Set a timer. I set a 7:45 AM alarm labeled "MINE TIME 💎" and I do NOT snooze it. Consistency beats intensity here. Grabbing mines for 10 minutes every morning beats doing a 2-hour marathon once a week. Trust me. I learned this the painful way when I forgot for like four days straight and lost a mine to some random alliance that had a guy named "xXDarkSlayerXx" who was apparently ONLINE 24/7.

Also — and this is the part people forget — upgrade your mine gathering speed. I know, I know, it costs gems to upgrade gathering speed, which feels like a scam. But it pays for itself in like two days. I promise. It's the only gem investment I'll ever defend with my life.

📜 Events, Events, EVENTS. This Is Where the Real Money Is.

Okay so Rise of Kingdoms runs events like a factory runs products — constantly, relentlessly, and with increasingly confusing names. KvK, SOC, Lost Kingdom, Temple of Legends, Sunset Canyon, Canyon of Trials, Barbarian Fortress... I'm already out of breath.

But HERE'S the thing most new players don't realize: events are where 60–70% of your total gem income comes from. Not shops. Not logins. Events.

My personal ranking of gem-friendly events (from most generous to "okay fine"):

  1. Lost Kingdom — This event is basically a gem dispensary disguised as a game mode. If you can clear even the mid-tier rewards, you're walking away with thousands. I once pulled like 4,500 gems from a single Lost Kingdom run and I literally screamed on the train. A woman stared at me. I didn't care.

  2. Temple of Legends — Similar vibe. The milestone rewards are GEM HEAVY. Focus on the milestones, not the leaderboard. Leaderboard is for whales. Milestones are for us beautiful, frugal commanders.

  3. KvK (Kingdom vs Kingdom) — Okay this one's tricky because it's alliance-dependent, but if your alliance is even semi-active, the war chest rewards and individual kill rewards stack up. Plus the KvK shop usually has gem packs. I've bought like... 15 gem packs from KvK shops over the years. They add up.

  4. SOC (State of Conquest) — Honestly? SOC used to be better. They nerfed the gem rewards a bit but it's still solid. The conquest points you earn can be traded for gem packs in the shop. Boring? Yes. Profitable? VERY.

  5. Barbarian Fortress / Canyon Events — These are the "oh I forgot this existed" events. They pop up randomly, they're short, and they often have gem rewards tucked into the milestones. I check for these every time I log in. Takes 30 seconds.

My big tip here: Don't try to max every event. I used to try to grind ALL of them simultaneously and I burned out so hard I quit for two weeks. Now I pick 2–3 events per season and go deep on those. Quality over quantity, baby.

📋 Achievements and Milestones — The Sneaky Gem Source

You know those achievement tabs you never look at? YEAH. Those.

There are hundreds of achievements in Rise of Kingdoms, and a LOT of them give gems. Like 50 here, 100 there, 500 for the big ones. Most people ignore them because they seem like "oh I'll get to that eventually."

I made a spreadsheet.

I am not joking. I have a Google Sheet called "ROK Gem Tracker 💎" with every achievement listed, how many gems it gives, and whether I've completed it. My partner saw it once and said, "You have a spreadsheet for a phone game?" and I said, "Yes, and it's the best relationship I have right now."

But seriously — go through your achievements tab RIGHT NOW. I bet you have at least 2,000–3,000 gems sitting there unclaimed. I did. I literally found 4,200 gems in unclaimed achievements last month and I felt like I discovered buried treasure.

Some hidden gem ones (pun intended, and I'm not even sorry):

  • Upgrading your city hall to certain levels
  • Researching specific technologies
  • Powering up commanders to specific stars
  • Completing certain numbers of rallies

It's tedious. But it's FREE gems. And free gems are the best kind of gems.

👑 The VIP / Monthly Card Situation — Worth It?

Okay let's talk about the elephant in the room. The Monthly Card. The VIP pass. The Elite Pass. All that stuff.

Is it worth spending real money on?

...

Okay I'm gonna be honest with you because that's the whole vibe of this blog: the Monthly Card is the single best gem-per-dollar purchase in the game. I'm not even exaggerating. It gives you 300 gems per day for 30 days. That's 9,000 gems. For like $5. Do that math against the gem shop prices and it's insane.

I've bought the Monthly Card every single month for... god, two years? Three? It's basically a subscription at this point. My bank account hates me but my gem counter loves me.

The Elite Pass (the paid tier) is also solid if you're already playing a lot, because the extra gems and sculptures you get back are worth more than the cost. But if you're F2P or light spender? Just do the Monthly Card. Just that. Nothing else. I beg you.

I did NOT follow my own advice early on and bought the $50 gem pack during a Lost Kingdom event because I was hyped. I still cringe thinking about it. That $50 could have been FIVE months of Monthly Cards. Five! I could have had 45,000 gems instead of 5,000. I literally made a TikTok about it (deleted now, thank god) and got 200 comments from people saying "SAME."

We've all been there.

🏪 The Gem Shop — When It's Actually a Good Deal

So the gem shop rotates, right? And sometimes it has "deals" that are genuinely worth it.

Here's my rule of thumb: if the gem-per-dollar ratio is better than the Monthly Card, I buy it. That's it. That's the whole strategy.

The Monthly Card gives you 60 gems per dollar (roughly). So any shop deal that beats that? GO FOR IT.

The best recurring deals I've seen:

  • The weekly gem packs that give bonus gems on top — these sometimes hit 80–100 gems per dollar equivalent
  • Event-specific gem bundles during KvK or Lost Kingdom — these are usually the BEST deals in the game, sometimes 150+ gems per dollar
  • The commander sculpture packs when they're on sale — not gems directly, but sculptures save you gems later, so it's indirect gem income

What I NEVER buy: the random resource packs that cost gems. NEVER. I don't care if you're 10 million wood short. You will get wood. It will come. Gems will not come back.

🧠 The Mental Game — Because This Part Matters More Than You Think

Okay this is the part where I get weird and philosophical, so bear with me.

The biggest gem-killer in Rise of Kingdoms isn't a bad deal or a missed event. It's impatience.

I used to spend gems the SECOND I got them. Like, 300 gems? Let me buy that commander sculpture. 500 gems? Oh look, a cool skin in the shop. 1,000 gems? SCULPTURE TIME BABY.

And then I'd be broke. Completely broke. Sitting on 12 gems, staring at an event I can't participate in because I have nothing to spend.

Now I have a rule: I never spend gems unless I have at least 10,000 saved. It's arbitrary. It's self-imposed. And it has saved me SO many times.

Because here's the thing — Rise of Kingdoms is a game of timing. The BEST time to spend gems is during a limited event with a gem-heavy shop. If you have 15,000 gems saved up and Lost Kingdom hits? You're a king. You're buying everything. You're spinning every wheel. You're living your best life.

But if you spent everything last Tuesday on some random commander you barely use? You're sitting there with 200 gems going "why am I like this."

I call this my "Gem Fasting" method. I hoard. I wait. I strike. It's not glamorous. But last Lost Kingdom I went from 14,000 gems to like 3,000 in two days and walked away with two legendary sculptures and a commander I've been wanting for MONTHS. That feeling? Chef's kiss. 🤌

🎲 Miscellaneous Stuff That Actually Adds Up

Quick hits because I know some of you just want the list:

  • Daily login rewards — Yeah yeah, everyone knows this one. But did you know the 7-day streak reward often includes gems? And the 30-day monthly login gives a gem pack? It's not much individually but it's like 500–800 gems a month for literally doing nothing. Don't break your streak. I broke mine once on day 22 and I was genuinely upset.

  • Alliance gifts — Join an active alliance. Like, actually active. Not one of those "20 members, 3 online" ghost towns. In a good alliance, people send gem gifts, speed-ups, and all that jazz. I get maybe 200–400 gems a week just from alliance gifts. That's not nothing!

  • Rally events — These pop up and they're quick. Usually 15–30 minutes. The rewards often include gems. I do these while watching Netflix. Multitasking king.

  • Bug compensation — Okay this is rare but LILITH occasionally gives out gems when something breaks. Remember that time the game crashed for 6 hours during KvK? I got 500 gems. I didn't even complain. I just... accepted my blessing.

  • Redeem codes — They put these out on social media sometimes. Follow the official ROK accounts. It takes 10 seconds to check. I got 300 gems from a code last month that I almost missed because I was "too busy." Busy doing WHAT? Gathering gem mines. Priorities, people.

📊 My Actual Numbers (Because I'm That Person)

Since you've made it this far (you beautiful, patient reader), here's my rough monthly gem breakdown:

Source Gems/Month (approx)
Gem mines (3 accounts) 12,000–18,000
Events (3–4 per month) 5,000–10,000
Achievements/milestones 2,000–4,000
Monthly Card 9,000
Logins + alliance + misc 1,500–2,500
Shop deals (when good) 2,000–5,000
TOTAL ~31,500–48,500

That's enough to max out most events, buy every good shop deal, AND still have a cushion. I'm not a whale. I spend maybe $5–10 a month total. And I have more gems than 90% of the people in my kingdom.

The secret? There IS no secret. It's just consistency and not being an idiot with your spending.

🫶 Final Thoughts (a.k.a. Please Don't Spend $100 on Gems, I Beg You)

Look, I love Rise of Kingdoms. It's genuinely one of the best mobile strategy games ever made and I've poured hundreds of hours into it. But the gem economy is designed to make you spend, and if you're not careful, you WILL spend.

My whole philosophy at this point is: treat gems like they're real money. Because emotionally? They are. Every gem you waste on a random commander you'll never use is a gem you didn't have for that one event where you could have gotten something amazing.

Gather your mines. Do your events. Claim your achievements. Buy the Monthly Card and NOTHING ELSE. Hoard like a dragon. And when the time is right? SPEND BIG and feel like the absolute legend you are.

That's it. That's the post. I could write 10,000 more words about this but my gem mine timer just went off and I have 11 mines to claim before some guy named "GEMKING2024" steals them all.

Go get your gems, commanders. 💎

And if you found this helpful? Drop a comment. Tell me your gem count. Tell me your horror stories. Tell me about that time you spent 5,000 gems on a commander and then pulled the same commander from a gold chest the next day. I WANT TO HEAR IT.

Catch you in the mines. 🫡
