Hello Corada,
Thank you ETA and Dan for pointing me to this How-to video on measuring handrail extensions. This video clearly demonstrates the length and dimension of what is expected but often misunderstood by contractors and architects. I just shared this with a contractor to reinforce what is expected for the minimum length handrail extension. Once again, Corada has been a very beneficial resource. Great job Corada!

Just concurring with Brian's comments. Most concise demonstration of how to (correctly) measure handrail extension length I've come across. No more arguing with Architects...will just send them this link.
