Once your phone is in SOS mode, it's often very easy to get your phone out of SOS mode, and it can be accomplished in a few easy steps. First, switch to Airplane mode and then back to its normal setting to make your phone re-search for the network again. Restarting is another good solution; it refreshes the system processes and network connections. Also, make sure your SIM card is in place and undamaged. Resetting network settings can restore normal network connectivity if the problem persists, but it will also delete previously saved Wi-Fi networks and preferences.
