Corada's Senior Technical Director Selected for DSA ACC

California's Division of the State Architect (DSA) has established the Access Code Collaborative (ACC) to create a diverse, representative group of stakeholders to assist DSA on proposed amendments to the accessibility provisions of the California Building Code (CBC). Members were selected with the assistance of the Department of Rehabilitation and the California Commission on Disability Access. Members of the ACC represent different stakeholders and many of the members represent more than one constituency group. The different stakeholders include: individuals with disabilities, Certified Access Specialists (CASp), disability advocates, building and facility owners, code enforcers, the building and construction industry, and design professionals.
After considering many applicants, DSA has just announced the charter members of the ACC and Kaylan M. Dunlap, Corada's Senior Technical Director, was among those selected! We are very proud of her and look forward to hearing about the ACC's work. More information about the ACC can be found on the Access Code Collaborative website.
