Advisory 11B-809.10.2 Number of complying bathing rooms and fixtures. The term bathing rooms and fixtures is used in this section to denote the various configurations of sanitary facilities that are designed in residential units. Each accessible dwelling unit with adaptable features where sanitary facilities are located within the unit or suite must provide at least one bathroom complying with the definition of “bathroom” found in Chapter 2 and the technical requirements found at Section 11B-809.10. Additional bathrooms with fixture types not found in the first bathroom also must comply. Powder rooms also have requirements.
                                                                                                Within dormitories in housing at a place of education, dormitory floors served by an accessible route and providing only sleeping rooms complying with 11B-809.6, and where bathrooms are not provided within sleeping rooms or suites, shall have at least one bathroom per floor comply with the definition of “bathroom” found in Chapter 2 and the technical requirements found at Section 11B-809.10. ◼
