11B-1005.2.1.1 Dispersion.
Railings, guards, or handrails required to comply with Section 11B-1005.2.1 shall be dispersed throughout the fishing pier or platform.
[2010 ADAS] Advisory 1005.2.1.1 Dispersion. Portions of the railings that are lowered to provide fishing opportunities for persons with disabilities must be located in a variety of locations on the fishing pier or platform to give people a variety of locations to fish. Different fishing locations may provide varying water depths, shade (at certain times of the day), vegetation, and proximity to the shoreline or bank.
