Description: Must employers make web-based employment information and services accessible to everyone, including those with disabilities? Join Bobby Silverstein for a discussion of how the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) applies to accessible workplace technology.  In particular, this webinar will highlight relevant policy developments such as

  • The current Department of Justice (DOJ) open comment period regarding their Supplemental Advance Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (SANPM) proposed accessibility requirements for online services, programs, and activities provided to the public by state and local governments–including many employment-related tools and resources; and 

  • Settlement agreements between DOJ and employers and other covered entities.

Held thethird Thursday of every month at 2pm ET, these events are designed to be energetic and interactive discussions highlighting a spectrum of exciting work. Featured speakers will deliver a 10- to 15- minute talk and then field questions from attendees.




Bobby Silverstein

Robert “Bobby” Silverstein was the staff director and chief counsel to the Senate Subcommittee on Disability Policy and chief aide to Senator Tom Harkin, the sponsor of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Currently, Bobby is a principal in the law firm of Powers Pyles Sutter & Verville, PC (link is external) and a member of the PEAT Team.
