• A free 1-hour service conducted by a Low Vision Rehabilitation Specialist

• A chance to see demonstrations of the latest options in mainstreams and access technology

• An opportunity to select magnifiers, lighting and non-optical items for purchase

​The Low Vision Rehabilitation Specialist:

Can tell you about free services and resources that can help you

• IS NOT an eye doctor

• DOES NOT give eye exams

• DOES NOT prescribe eye glasses

​PLEASE bring to your appointment:

• Current eye glasses and magnifiers that you may use

• Any hearing aid(s) with fresh batteries, if you use them

• Sample of hobbies or reading material to help you try out the devices

• A person to translate, if needed

• Your eye doctor’s referral, if available

• Explains the reason for your vision problem

• Lets us work with your eye doctor to help
