Description: This course is an introduction to the basics of accessible design and building codes and standards for housing. The course provides an overview of accessible housing policies, such as the set-aside approach and adaptable housing, as well as important trends in housing policy such as visitability. Students explore the needs of aging individuals in the housing market and the importance of the neighborhood in the universal design of housing.

Courses last 4-weeks (March 28 - April 24). Courses require about 15 hours of study during the 4-week window, including readings, videos, discussion, projects, and tests. There are no required sign in times so you can access the courses on your schedule.
