Designing a Better User Experience

Date: Thursday, June 30, 2016
Time: 11:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Eastern (UTC – 4 hours)
Length: 1.5 hours
Speakers: Mary Jo Mueller, Accessibility Standards Program Manager, IBM and Bo Campbell, Accessibility Consultant Designer, IBM Research
Target Audience: Designers, developers
Skill Level: Intermediate
Overview: Accessibility standards go a long way toward ensuring technology is "accessible". Meeting those standards doesn't always lead to the best user experience for persons with disabilities. In a competitive work environment it is imperative that technology provides efficiency and ease of use for everyone. This webinar will bring to light some areas where good design is key to improving the overall user experience for all users - with or without disabilities.
