JOIN US: The Administration for Community Living and the Professional Baseball Athletic Trainers Society invite you to a grand-slam event to close out National Disability Employment Awareness Month!

DATE: Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at 2:00 p.m.

PLACE: Barbara Jordan Conference Center, 1330 G Street NW, Washington, DC

Featured guests include:

  • Mark O’Neal, President, Professional Baseball Athletic Trainers Society
  • Curtis Pride, former professional baseball player and current Gallaudet University head baseball coach
  • Jim Eisenreich, former professional baseball player and founder, Jim Eisenreich Foundation for Children with Tourette’s Syndrome
  • Disability employment experts and ACL partners Mark Odum, HeiTech Services, Inc., and Vicki Brooke, VCU

We hope you can  join us as we celebrate baseball’s rich history of promoting disability inclusion on the field and in the workplace, challenge assumptions about the limitations of people with disabilities and talk about how we can increase expectations and eliminate barriers to employment for people with disabilities.

Together, we can make sure talent isn’t left sitting on the bench!
