Respite is planned or emergency care provided to a child or adult with special needs in order to provide temporary relief to family caregivers who are caring for that child or adult.
This year's National Lifespan Respite Conference, Take Off with Respite, is hosted by Alabama Lifespan Respite in collaboration with the ARCH National Respite Network. The conference will be held at the Embassy Suites Huntsville Hotel on October 11-13, 2017.
