DESCRIPTION:The U.S. Access Board will hold a hearing in San Diego on March
  5 from 9:30 to 11:30 on its proposed rule updating accessibility requirem
 ents for information and communication technology (ICT) technology covered
  by Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act and Section 255 of the Communica
 tion Act. The event will provide an opportunity for members of the public 
 to comment on the Board's proposal which was released on February 18. It w
 ill be held at the site of the California State University at Northridge (
 CSUN) Annual International Technology and Persons with Disabilities Confer
 ence but will be open to the general public. Hearing attendees do not have
  to register for the CSUN conference.\n\nThose who wish to testify at eith
 er hearing are encouraged to sign-up in advance by contacting Kathy Johnso
 n at johnson@access-board.gov\, (202) 272–0041 (voice)\, or (202) 272–
 0082 (TTY). Preregistration\, however\, is not required. For the comfort o
 f all participants\, attendees are requested to refrain from using perfume
 \, cologne\, and other fragrances.\n\nWritten comments on the proposed rul
