  hall meeting in Salt Lake City on April 29 at the Division of Services fo
 r the Blind and Visually Impaired. The event will feature panel discussion
 s on various topics and a public hearing on the Board's proposed update of
  accessibility requirements for information and communication technologies
  (ICT). The Board also will hold a public forum on design education at the
  University of Utah on April 27.\n\nPanel discussions at the town hall mee
 ting will cover technology and people with disabilities as well as ADA imp
 lementation in the Salt Lake City area. The public hearing following these
  discussions will allow members of the public to provide comment on a prop
 osed rule the Board issued in February to refresh requirements for ICT cov
 ered by Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act and Section 255 of the Commu
 nication Act. Witnesses must testify in person. Written comments on the pr
 oposed rule will be accepted until May 28. Additional information on this 
 rulemaking is posted on the Board's website.\n\nThe lunchtime public foru
 m on April 27 at the University of Utah will be devoted to learning and te
 aching accessible design in the 21st Century. Speakers will include the Ch
 air of the University of Utah's School of Architecture\, the Director of D
 esignBuildBLUFF\, and the Executive Director of ASSIST\, Inc.\n\nFor more
