 ts 34th year\, the Reach for a Star Luncheon benefits the Henry Viscardi S
 chool at The Viscardi Center\, a private\, New York State supported school
  for children\, Pre-K through age 21\, with severe physical disabilities w
 ho often require life-sustaining medical treatment throughout the day. Its
  specialized\, accessible educational setting provides a fully-enriched ac
 ademic program\, a variety of therapies\, assistive technology and medical
  supports to students who may otherwise need to receive instruction in the
 ir homes or a hospital. \n\nLike all kids\, the students of the Henry Vis
 cardi School like to spend time together outside of school. Unfortunately\
 , it is something they hardly get to do. Many live far away from one anoth
 er and need special transportation because of their wheelchairs and medica
 l needs.The proceeds from the Luncheon support after-school activities\, c
 lubs\, adapted sports and overnights for the students of the Henry Viscard
 i School.\n\nThe Reach for a Star Luncheon features an elaborate cocktail 
 hour\, a sit-down lunch\, International and Silent Auctions and entertainm
 ent. Past entertainment has included Hoda Kotb\, Co-Host\, Fourth Hour of 
 Today and Correspondent\, Dateline NBC\, the “Angels of Kinky Boots” f
 rom Broadway’s Award-winning show\, and “American Idol” finalist\, E
 lise Testone.\n\nThe Luncheon features an elaborate cocktail hour\, a sit-
 down lunch\, International and Silent Auctions and entertainment. Past ent
