 continues its tradition as one of the premier conferences in the United St
 ates for behavioral scientists conducting research in intellectual and rel
 ated developmental disabilities.  The Gatlinburg Conference on Research a
 nd Theory in Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities was established i
 n the 1960's.\n\nGoals of the conference:\n\n\n	Promote exchange of inform
 ation regarding the latest findings in behavioral &amp\; biobehavioral res
 earch on the causes\, consequences\, prevention\, and treatment of intell
 ectual disability and related developmental disabilities.\n	Further our un
 derstanding of the manifestations of those disabilities.\n	Better characte
 rize the contexts in which people with disabilities and their families liv
 e.\n	Promote collaboration among behavioral scientists.\n	Provide a major 
 training resource for graduate students\, postdoctoral fellows\, and earl
 y career faculty in the field of intellectual disabilities research.\n\n\
 nThis conference is supported by grant number R13HD084155 from the Eunice 
 Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development a
 nd the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke as well a
