DESCRIPTION:The Ergonomic Evaluator’s Americans with Disabilities Act (AD
 A) Title I Training (Session 2 of 2)\n\nCost: $195.00\nInstructor: Roy Mat
heson\, ADAC\nContact Hours: 4.0 NBCOT CRAC\nLive Broadcast of the Course:
 \nSession 1 – Friday\, March 24th – 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. (eastern time) an
 d\nSession 2 – Saturday\, March 25th – noon to 2:00 p.m. (eastern time
)\nOn-Demand Distance Learning Class Available Beginning: Friday\, March 3
0th\n\nErgonomic evaluation specialists are ideally situated to add immedi
ate value to the services they offer by combining ergonomic evaluation ski
lls with new knowledge of the requirements of Title I (Employment) of the
Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). On an ongoing basis\, employers see
k valid answers to questions about the physical demands and inherent risks
of job tasks in order to remain in compliance with Title I. Your knowledg
e of accepted work measurement techniques in combination with new knowledg
e of such subjects as reasonable accommodation\, direct threat\, and essen
tial function task statements supports employer compliance.\n\nThe objecti
ve of this course is to expand your professional toolbox as you prepare to
contribute to the resolution of ADA Title I experienced by the employers
in your current and growing practice. The conversation may include questio
ns about an OSHA 300 Log entry as a trigger for reasonable accommodation c
overage of a worker. It may concern a company’s need to document the cos
t behind a denial of a request for accommodation. New requests for your se
rvices will involve your application of accepted risk evaluation tools to
survey work tasks that are essential to a job for which the employer inten
ds to institute post-offer testing.\n\nIn reality your contribution to the
  present-day mechanics of on-the-job safety\, hiring\, employment testing\
, and reasonable accommodation is only limited by (1) an employer’s inte
rest in compliance with these topics\, and (2) your level of preparation t
o participate in the discussion. You are currently an ergonomic evaluation
resource: an increase in your value to the employer intent on complying w
ith federal employment practices begins with this course.\n\nAttending the
