DESCRIPTION:The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) will turn twenty-five
  on July 26\, 2015. And a big anniversary deserves a BIG celebration! That
 's why we're partnering with individuals and organizations around the coun
 try to prepare for 2015. How will YOU celebrate?\n\nThe ADA Legacy Tour ma
 kes its Springfield\, Illinois stop on Tuesday\, June 16\, 2015 from 11am 
 - 2pm.  We will be celebrating in downtown Springfield\, Illinois at The 
 Old State Capitol Plaza.  This is located between 5th and 6th streets and
  between Washington and Adams. \n\nCelebration includes:\n\n\n	Tom Olin\,
  a social documentarian of the disability rights movement for over 30 year
 s\, whose photographs have been featured at The Smithsonian Institute and 
 at The United Nations.\n	Music provided by Hipbone Sam\n	"Because of the A
 DA...." booth where advocates can post their thoughts and photos to illust
 rate the difference the ADA has made in their lives.\n	Sign the ADA Quilt\
 n	Ice Cream\n	Interactive exhibits\n	Vendor Tables .......and much more!!!

 e ADA Legacy Tour is rolling across the country raising awareness and buil
 ding excitement toward ADA25 - the 25th anniversary of the ADA in 2015! Th
 e Tour includes:\n\n\n	The "Road to Freedom" ADA Bus - which traveled to 4
 8 states in 2007 to raise support for the ADA Amendments Act - courtesy of
  the Disability Rights Center and driven by veteran disability rights phot
 ographer\, Tom Olin\;\n	a four-panel display on the history of self-advoca
 cy\, courtesy of the Museum of disABILITY History\;\n	displays on The ADA 
 Legacy Project and its effort to preserve of disability history\; celebrat
 e disability history milestones\; and educate future generations of disabi
 lity advocates\;\n	a "Because of the ADA . . ." booth where you can post y
 our thoughts and photos to illustrate the difference the ADA has made in y
 our life\;\n	the ADA quilt - add your signature to thousands of others who
  have participated in the Tour\;\n	displays on the history of the Road to 
 Freedom Tour\;\n	an information table with handouts on The ADA Legacy Proj
 ect and the ADA\, plus information from our partners and sponsors\; and\n	
 events\, workshops\, artifacts\, and other programming provided by local h
 osts.\n\n\nSix of the Tour stops will be housed at the Abilities Expo\, on
 e of our major Tour partners. These stops will include a workshop on the A
 DA\, courtesy of the ADA National Network.\n\nEach stop will have a unique
