 stablished in honor of N. Douglas Wells\, a dedicated teacher and cherishe
 d faculty member of the Capital University Law School from 1989 through 20
 04. Professor Wells\, whose research and teaching focused on family law\, 
 helped to establish the National Center for Adoption Law and Policy\, now 
 known as the Family and Youth Law Center. The 2017 Wells Lecture is the 13
 th annual event named in Professor Wells' honor.\n\nRegistration for the W
 ells Lecture is open to the general public.\n\nApproved by the Supreme Cou
 rt of Ohio Commission on Continuing Legal Education for a total 2.0 Contin
