omply with the original ADA are now required to comply with the 2010 ADA S
tandards. We will discuss common areas of non-compliance and issues of ong
oing facility management thru photographs of complying and non-complying e

hru Accessibility\n\nStepping Thru Accessibility was founded in 2009 in re
sponse to the need for information on Access in the built environment. STA
  assists building owners\, property managers\, tenants\, attorneys\, admin
istrative authorities\, and architects navigate their way thru accessibili
ty concerns\, both for the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) as well a
s other federal Access regulations and California state codes. Navigating
the intricacies of these regulations and codes is our specialty. STA surve
ys existing facilities and provides detailed reports of items in non-compl
iance with today’s Access standards. Construction drawings for new build
ings and alterations can be evaluated to verify if accessibility requireme
nts are adequately addressed. And topical seminars for architects\, facili
ties and property managers\, interior designers\, landscape\, civil engine
ers\, &amp\; others involved in the built environment are offered.\n
