T his theme reflects the opportunities for SILCs and the Independent Living community as a result of the reauthorization of the Rehabilitation Act. SI LCs will also be heavily involved in the development of their new State Pl ans for Independent Living as the conference convenes. General Sessions an d highly focused workshops will provide attendees with the information and tools they will need to successfully guide their organizations forward.\n \nThis year\, SILC Congress will begin on Saturday\, January 16 and conclu de on Tuesday\, January 19. However\, the request must be made in writing and must be made prior to the conference. If your request is made prior to December 1\, 2015\, you will receive a refund minus a $2 5.00 administrative fee.\n \n \n Cancelations after December 1\, 2015 a re not eligible for a refund as we will be finalizing arrangements with th e hotel and producing materials for the conference.
