 n\nCharlie Croteau broke his neck at the age of 20 as an agricultural engi
 neering student at Montana State University. After his injury\, he went on
  to found the Center for Living and Working in Worcester in order to help 
 make a positive impact for those with physical disabilities.  This includ
 ed job training\, personal care\, housing\, transportation\, and transitio
 nal programs. He has taught physical and occupational therapies around New
  England for the past 38 years. Charlie has also spent his time volunteeri
 ng at the major spinal cord injury centers in and around Boston for the pa
 st 35 years.  He has written a book on wheelchair mobility and produced t
 eaching videos on living with a spinal cord injury.  Charlie has served f
 or 20 years as an Impartial Hearing Officer for the state of Massachusetts
 .  It has been his life's mission to make life better for those with disa
 bilities.\n\nJoin us for Mr. Croteau's discussion on how human lives can b
 e transformed by design. Learn how a person with a traumatic injury can be
 come a functional person adding to the fabric of society.  These changes 
 can be made on many levels whether physical\, mental\, or spiritual.\n\nTo
