 inar series designed to improve the understanding of why and how to provid
 e accessible pedestrian facilities in the public right of way. The series
  will begin with a discussion of legal obligations\, how the Standards and
  guidelines apply and then move through the components of pedestrian acces
 s and how to actually achieve access.\n\nPart 4: Ensuring Access on Public
  Right of Way Projects – Pedestrian access sounds easy\, but making it h
 appen is a challenge. This webinar will go beyond design basics and talk 
 about activities and institutional operations that can keep everyone movin
 g in the right direction. It will discuss the benefits of policy review a
 nd how intentional design and inspection documentation may reduce future r
 isks\, how pre-construction meetings and understanding of and construction
  tolerances can reduce frustrations for both agencies and contractors.\n\n
