 of the key knowledge areas affording project inspector competency of the r
 ules\, regulations\, standards\, procedures and inspection techniques asso
 ciated with public school construction projects under DSA jurisdiction. Th
 is class covers the following material:\n	\n	\n	Updates to the Title 24\, 
 California Code of Regulations\, Parts 1\, 2\, 3\, 4\, 5\, and 9 as well a
 s other applicable codes and standards\, such as Title 19 and NFPA standar
 ds\, which are relevant to construction project inspection and certificati
 on.\n	\n	\n	Plan Reading\n	\n	\n	New construction oversight procedures ass
 ociated with the required inspections\, communications\, and documentation
  of the construction work:\n\n	\n		\n		Become familiar with Procedure PR 1
 3-01 and new series of required DSA forms.\n		\n		\n		Learn how to use DSA
 box.\n		\n		\n		Learn how to fill out the DSA 152 Project Inspection Card 
 through examples.\n		\n		\n		Become familiar with the DSA 152 Inspection C
 ard Manual.\n		\n	\n	\n\n\nThere will be an emphasis on inspection and doc
 umentation of construction items associated with:\n\n\n	\n	Structural Safe
 ty\n	\n	\n	Fire-life Safety\n	\n	\n	Accessibility\n	\n	\n	Plumbing\n	\n	\n
 	Mechanical\n	\n	\n	Electrical\n	\n	\n	Material Testing\n	\n\n\nRecommende
 d for:\nArchitects\, project engineers\, construction managers\, contracto
 rs\, school district personnel and others interested in learning about con
 struction and inspection procedures for public school projects under DSA j
 urisdiction.\n\nNOTE: While this class is beneficial to everyone involved 
 in school construction\, it is designed for DSA-Certified Project Inspecto
 rs with a background in construction and inspection.\n\nMandatory for:\nDS
 A-Certified Project Inspectors. Inspectors must attend this class within t
 heir four-year certification period as one of the requirements for re-cert
 ification.\n\nClass Includes:\nProfessional training materials include a c
 lass binder containing the instructors’ presentations\, exercises and re
 source information. Visual aids and other class-related materials may also
  be utilized.\n\nFood and drinks are not included.\n
