 ge areas affording project inspector competency of the rules\, regulations
 \, standards\, procedures and inspection techniques associated with public
  school construction projects under DSA jurisdiction. This class covers th
 e following material:\n\n\n	Updates to the Title 24\, California Code of R
 egulations\, Parts 1\, 2\, 3\, 4\, 5\, and 9 as well as other applicable c
 odes and standards\, such as Title 19 and NFPA standards\, which are relev
 ant to construction project inspection and certification.\n	\n	Plan Readin
 g\n	\n	New construction oversight procedures associated with the required 
 inspections\, communications\, and documentation of the construction work:
 \n	\n		Become familiar with Procedure PR 13-01 and new series of required 
 DSA forms.\n		Learn how to use DSAbox.\n		Learn how to fill out the DSA 15
 2 Project Inspection Card through examples.\n		Become familiar with the DS
 A 152 Inspection Card Manual.\n	\n	\n\nThere will be an emphasis on inspec
 tion and documentation of construction items associated with:\n\n\n	Struct
 ural Safety\n	Fire-life Safety\n	Accessibility\n	Plumbing\n	Mechanical\n	E
 lectrical\n	Material Testing\n\n\n \n\n\nRecommended for:\n\n\n\n	Archite
 cts\, project engineers\, construction managers\, contractors\, school dis
 trict personnel and others interested in learning about construction and i
 nspection procedures for public school projects under DSA jurisdiction.\n	
 \n	NOTE: While this class is beneficial to everyone involved in school con
 struction\, it is designed for DSA-Certified Project Inspectors with a bac
 kground in construction and inspection.\n\n\n\n\nMandatory for:\n\n\n\n	DS
 A-Certified Project Inspectors. Inspectors must attend this class within t
 heir four-year certification period as one of the requirements for re-cert
 ification.\n\n\n\n\nClass Includes:\n\n\n\n	Professional training material
 s include a class binder containing the instructors’ presentations\, exe
 rcises and resource information. Visual aids and other class-related mater
 ials may also be utilized.\n	Food and drinks are not included.\n\n\n\n
