 ious mental illness\, cognitive challenges\, and substance use want to obt
 ain employment and build a career path.  Individual Placement and Support
  (IPS) has the strongest evidence base with 25 randomized controlled studi
 es demonstrating that two to three times more people gain employment with 
 IPS support than with other traditional vocational approaches.  In this p
 resentation\, Deborah Becker will briefly review the IPS practice and prin
 ciples\, the research\, and implementation strategies.  She will describe
  cross-system issues\, such as funding these services\, state agency agree
 ments\, and the role of a national learning community\, which has accelera
