 th intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) and behavioral health
  needs. The event is an excellent opportunity for participants who are ded
 icated to improving the lives of persons with IDD and behavioral health ne
 eds\, including: psychologists\, social workers\, psychiatrists\, direct s
 upport staff\, self-advocates\, families\, educators\, decision-makers\, 
 and community members. Participants will be able to create their own confe
 rence experience by choosing from four content strands:\n\n\n	\n	Positive 
 Psychology and Strength Bases Practices\n	\n	\n	Community Networking and L
 inkages\n	\n	\n	Health and Wellness\n	\n	\n	Clinical Practices\n	\n\n\nThe
  START National Training Institute is an annual event provided by the Univ
 ersity of New Hampshire Institute on Disability’s Center for START Servi
 ces as part of the START Professional Learning Community (PLC). The PLC is
  a collective enterprise comprised of START programs and their partners ac
 ross the United States that seeks to share information and act on learning
  to enhance effectiveness as professionals through continuous inquiry and 
 improvement\, drawing upon innovation from a diverse range of perspectives

 elcomes anyone who is interested in improving services and supports to peo
 ple with IDD and behavioral health needs\, including START teams and their
  partners\, families\, self-advocates\, social workers\, direct support pr
 ofessionals\, case managers\, service coordinators\, educators\, physician
 s\, nurses\, emergency services personnel\, and mental health crisis team 
 workers.\n\nRegistration\n\n\n	\n	Advance registration is required and acc
 epted in the order received. Registrant is responsible for making payment
