 cept of human performance (the ability of people to complete activities an
 d tasks) through the investigation of the four key bodies of knowledge rel
 ated to human performance: anthropometry\, biomechanics\, perception\, and
  cognition. The course summarizes each body of knowledge in terms of its r
 elationship to universal design\, and provides key design strategies for e
 ach.\n\nLearning Objectives\n\nAt the conclusion of this course\, particip
 ants will be able to…\n\n\n	\n	Explain the four key areas of human perfo
 rmance knowledge and their importance to universal design\, citing specifi
 c examples.\n	\n	\n	Contrast universal design and best practices in ergono
 mic design using the example of the bell curve of characteristics and abil
 ities.\n	\n	\n	Apply the four key areas of human performance knowledge to 
 universal design using the key strategies discussed.\n	\n	\n	Identify each
  of the human performance areas in a given sample environment.\n	\n\n\nSyl
 labus\n\nFor information on student responsibilities\, grading\, and credi
 ts\, see the course syllabus.\n\nRegistration Information\n\n\n	\n	Dates/
 Times: Students will be responsible for completing 15 hours of work durin
 g a 4-week window (May 10 – June 7\, 2019). There are no required sign i
