 ign Case Studies and Accessibility Code Updates Including the CBC Interven
 ing Code Ammendments enforceable as of July 1\, 2015.\n\nPart I: 2.5 Hours
 \nUniversal Design presentation and illustratration of its principles appl
 ied in creative case studies\, of inclusive and inspirational facilities. 
 The benefits of mainstreaming Universal Design are discussed.  Understand
 ing ergonomics and the impact of our design solutions on the functionality
  and improvement in the quality of life for people with a wide variety of 
 abilities.The case studies include a large indoor/outdoor museum\, Incheon
  International Airport and the Ed Robert’s Center that houses organizati
 ons of persons with disabilities.\n\nPart II: 2.5 Hours\nThis seminar will
  feature an update of the key technical accessibility requirements of the 
 2013 CBC and 2010 ADA Standards (ADAS) including the CBC Intervening Code 
 Adoption Cycle Supplement (effective July 1\, 2015). It will highlight the
  new structure of the scoping provisions for projects that indicates what 
 regulations apply and where in both CBC and ADAS. A discussion of proative
  and preventive measures that architects can use in their projects to avoi
 d litigation. Best practices and common errors and omissions will be discu
 ssed.\n\nLearning Objectives:\n• Understanding the benefits of Universal
