 e that pedestrian facilities and access routes are properly constructed an
 d maintained for all individuals\, including those with disabilities. This
  course also focuses on proper design and maintenance of pedestrian access
  routes in new construction or when existing facilities are altered. Parti
 cipants are engaged through a power point presentation\, small group discu
 ssion\, and an outdoor exercise. This training was developed to provide in
 formation and best practices for those involved in the design and maintena
 nce of pedestrian facilities\, and for those individuals that ensure the p
 roper adherence to all applicable laws and guidelines. This course is taug
 ht from the perspective of the Public Right of Way Accessibility Guideline
 s (PROWAG)\, a best practice for public rights of way.\n\nModules\n1. Laws
