 is seminar will highlight the recreation facility requirements covered by 
 the 2010 ADA Standards for Accessible Design issued by the Department of J
 ustice (DOJ). A detailed look at the scoping and technical requirements fo
 r amusement facilities\, recreational boating facilities\, fishing facilit
 ies\, miniature golf and golf facilities\, sports facilities\, play areas\
 , and swimming pools and spas will be provided. Additionally\, the seminar
  will address the outdoor developed areas standard which includes scoping 
 and technical requirements for trails\, picnic and camping facilities\, vi
 ewing areas\, and beach access routes on federal land covered by the Archi
 tectural Barriers Act (ABA). Finally\, a discussion on identifying the app
 ropriate requirements for exterior routes including\; accessible routes\, 
 pedestrian access routes\, shared use paths\, beach access routes\, and pe
 destrian trails.\n\nAttendees will learn:\n\n\n	\n	An understanding of the
  minimum accessibility requirements for newly constructed and altered recr
 eation facilities covered by the 2010 ADA Standards for Accessible Design.
 \n	\n	\n	The ability to evaluate existing recreation facilities for compli
 ance with the standard.\n	\n	\n	An understanding of the minimum accessibil
 ity requirements for newly constructed and altered outdoor developed areas
  covered by the ABA.\n	\n	\n	Know where to locate technical assistance res
 ources for recreation facilities and outdoor developed areas.\n	\n	\n	The 
 ability to identify and understand the requirements for different exterior
