 cription: Get Ready for the Fun Stuff! This seminar will highlight the re
 creation facility requirements covered by the 2010 ADA Standards for Acces
 sible Design issued by the Department of Justice (DOJ). A detailed look at
  the scoping and technical requirements for amusement facilities\, recreat
 ional boating facilities\, fishing facilities\, miniature golf and golf fa
 cilities\, sports facilities\, play areas\, and swimming pools and spas wi
 ll be provided. Additionally\, the seminar will address the outdoor develo
 ped areas standard which includes scoping and technical requirements for t
 rails\, picnic and camping facilities\, viewing areas\, and beach access r
 outes on federal land covered by the Architectural Barriers Act (ABA). Fin
 ally\, a discussion on identifying the appropriate requirements for exteri
 or routes including\; accessible routes\, pedestrian access routes\, share
 d use paths\, beach access routes\, and pedestrian trails.\n\nAttendees wi
 ll learn:\n\n\n	\n	An understanding of the minimum accessibility requireme
 nts for newly constructed and altered recreation facilities covered by the
  2010 ADA Standards for Accessible Design.\n	\n	\n	The ability to evaluate
  existing recreation facilities for compliance with the standard.\n	\n	\n	
 An understanding of the minimum accessibility requirements for newly const
 ructed and altered outdoor developed areas covered by the ABA.\n	\n	\n	Kno
 w where to locate technical assistance resources for recreation facilities
  and outdoor developed areas.\n	\n	\n	The ability to identify and understa
