 ion of the State Architect (DSA) and the California Department of Rehabili
 tation (DOR) on September 1\, 2016\, for a teleconference meeting in which
  DSA will share information and seek input regarding potential amendments 
 to the accessibility provisions of the California Building Standards codes
 . DSA and DOR will highlight key aspects of the development\, adoption and
  implementation of construction-related accessibility standards\, includin
 g the following:\n\n\n	\n	DSA’s role as both the developer of accessibil
 ity codes and the enforcement agency for public schools\, community colleg
 es and other state owned buildings.\n	\n	\n	DSA’s consultation with DOR\
 , the California Association of Counties\, the League of California Cities
  and organizations comprised of and representing disabled individuals duri
 ng the development of accessibility code proposals.\n	\n	\n	A brief presen
 tation on the code adoption process\, along with timelines for current and
  future building code adoption cycles.\n	\n	\n	DSA’s collaboration with 
 DOR and the California Commission on Disability Access on educational outr
 each to business owners\, building officials\, architects\, engineers\, co
 ntractors\, disabled individuals and the general public.\n	\n\n\nDSA will 
 then present topics for possible consideration during the current code ado
 ption cycle. The balance of the call will be open to participants for thei
 r comments\, feedback and suggestions on both the presented topics and add
