  is a resource (something you can obtain\, use\, and invest)\, a catalyst 
 (something that causes change)\, and an outcome (with potential benefits t
 o both the individual and the community).  Social capital is about the co
 nnections we have with others\; connections of value to all involved.  It
  is about linking with others in order to build a network\, access opportu
 nities and\, in turn\, contribute to the larger society\, through our tale
 nts\, creativity\, energy\, and care.  Social capital is never depleted b
 y use\; rather it expands the more you use it! George Tilson facilitates a
  discussion with two professionals who have physical and sensory disabilit
 ies – about social capital as they see it: the importance it plays in th
 eir lives – in their accomplishments\, how they handle obstacles\, and t
 heir future aspirations.  We ponder how people with disabilities can buil
 d and invest in social capital to create meaningful outcomes in careers\, 
 lifelong learning\, relationships\, independent living\, recreational purs
