 ion. Artful Innovation: Inclusive Design and Technology is part of the yea
 rlong celebration of President Kennedy's birth and a program of the Jean K
 ennedy Smith Arts and Disability Program. The Kennedy Center envisioned te
 lling a story that would:\n\n\n	Convey that technology can be equal parts 
 art and function\, that facilitate the interaction between a person and hi
 s or her environment\;\n	Introduce a new sphere of possibilities in the ar
 ts created by\, for\, and with artists with disabilities\;\n	Illustrate ho
 w innovations in technology can allow us to move beyond our perceived limi
 ts of mind and body\; and\n	Invite visitors into a growing community of in
 ventors\, idea-makers\, and creators.\n\n\nIHCD scanned the world to ident
