 trategic role and responsibilities of the ADA Coordinator.  Each of the f
 ive Titles under the ADA is presented and explored.  Case law and real-li
 fe scenarios are used throughout the course.  Weekly online discussions a
 llow for application of concepts taught as well as for networking with pee
 rs and instructors. One mandatory virtual live classroom will occur on a w
 eeknight during the four weeks. If unable to attend\, an alternate project
  will be assigned.\n\n\nLearner Outcomes\n\nAt the conclusion of this cour
 se\, students will be able to:\n\n\n	summarize the prevalence &amp\; impac
 t of disabilities.\n	apply proper etiquette with people with disabilities.

 enefits of Universal Design.\n	apply the definition of disabilities to the

  responsibilities of an ADA Coordinator or ADA Professional.\n	recognize t
 he qualities that make an effective ADA Coordinator or ADA Professional.\n
 	describe some of the tasks an ADA Coordinator or ADA Professional would t
 ypically be responsible for.\n	discuss beginning steps to designing a plan
  to improve access with a self-evaluation plan and a transition plan.\n	re
 late to others that every organization could potentially benefit from havi
 ng an ADA Coordinator.\n	apply proper definitions of terms in the field of
  disabilities.\n	differentiate between the five titles of the ADA.\n	summa
 rize the ADA law as it applies to service animals.\n	locate the 2010 ADA S
