  ADA Shop Talk is a fun and informative discussion regarding the applicati
 on of the various codes\, laws and standards that effect business owners\,
  architects\, engineers\, contractors\, code officials\, and consultants t
 hroughout the the United States.\n\nYour Hosts\n\n\n	\n	Paul Klein loves

 o commit to another one of Pauls projects\, but in the end Mark said "what

 chtime chat discussing the Certified Access Specialist Institute(CASI)\, t
 he upcoming CASI Summit in October 2018 and challenging accessibility pr
 ojects Eric has worked with.\n\nEric is CASI president and Senior Project
  Coordinator\, Associate Nacht &amp\; Lewis. Trained as an architect and 
 on-track for licensure in California as an architect\, Mr. Sifuentes is cr
 edentialed as a Certified Access Specialist (CASp) by the Division of the 
 State Architect. As a certified access specialist\, Eric leads the firm in
  understanding and resolving ADA\, California Title 24\, universal design 
 and other accessibility issues in new and modernization project design and
  facility assessment work. Eric’s formal architectural training\, combin
 ed with the theoretical and practical working knowledge required for CASp 
 certification\, makes him uniquely qualified to effectively identify acces
 sibility shortfalls in existing facilities and assist in the design of imp
 rovements.\n\nEric teaches accessibility-related content as part of CAB’
 s continuing education requirements for California licensed architects. In
  addition\, Eric has been a guest speaker on the subject of accessibility 
 at the Construction Specifications Institute and American Institute of Arc
 hitects\, Academy of Architecture for Justice conferences and at a Califor
 nia Department of Corrections &amp\; Rehabilitation’s A/E Roundtable ses
 sion. Eric has a Bachelor of Architecture from California State Polytech
