 8 Standards Refresh Toolkit for building organizational support for access

  Kaplan is uniquely qualified to inspire innovative approaches to solving 
 accessibility problems that are suited to a variety of organizations. She 
 currently is responsible for developing and implementing Section 508 polic
 y at HHS and has been involvedin technology accessibility for many years s
 erving in a number of roles. She headed the Accessibility Technology Initi
 ative for the California State University System. She is also on the Execu
 tive Committee of the CIO Council Accessibility Community of Practice. She
  is a member of the Steering Committee of the Web Accessibility Initiative
  of the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C).\n\nMarsha K. Mazz\, Director of t
 he Office of Technical and Information Services for the U.S. Access Board 
 in Washington\, DC will join Ms. Kaplan to outline how the Revised 508 Sta
 ndards apply to electronic content.Ms. Mazz’s office is responsible for 
 the continued development of the Section 508 Standards for Accessible Info
 rmation and Communications Technology\, the Americans with Disabilities Ac
 t and Architectural Barriers Accessibility Guidelines\, and the Standards 
 for Accessible Medical and Diagnostic Equipment.\n\nThe presenters will re
