  millions of Americans. 40 years ago\, the Kennedy Center’s VSA opened i
 ts doors to provide arts and education opportunities for all people with d
 isabilities. These are indeed powerful reasons to celebrate. And so we sha
 ll!\nThis is the 25/40 Celebration. Join us in DC this July—the Kennedy 
 Center and the Smithsonian are offering a one-of-a-kind\, cross-campus cel
 ebration. We are filling our stages\, theaters\, and public spaces with ou
 tstanding\, free events to honor a culture of creativity\, expression\, an
